Round 4 of the 2025 MXGB British Youth Motocross Championship took place over the weekend on August 16th - 17th at Iron Works MX Track. We had some great results for our Plews supported Junior riders.
Big wheel 85cc class
In the big wheel 85 class our riders dominated by taking all 5 top spots. It was a long weekend of racing with 4 motos over Saturday and Sunday. Coming in 1st overall we have Joel Winstanley-Dawson who’s results were 2-2-1-1. While he may have collided with some other riders and not had the best start but he was able to work his way back up the field and race consistently over the weekend.
In 2nd overall we have Harley Marczak who’s results were 1-1-5-2.
In 3rd overall we have Cohen Jagielski who’s results were 4-3-4-3. After a year with a few injuries he was able to take his first podium of the year not to mention two holeshots.
In 4th overall we have Jenson Severn who’s results were 5-6-2-5. While he didn’t have the best day racing on Saturday with a couple mistakes he was able to improve on the Sunday and secured a holeshot in race 3.
In 5th overall we have Arthur Moore who’s results were 7-5-3-4. In race 1 and 2 his wheel bearings and suspension seal popped. After a collision on the start Arthur was able to fight back and finish strong in race 3 and 4.
65cc class
In the 65cc class our riders also had a long weekend in the saddle with 4 motos. Coming in 1st overall we have Forrest Roberts who’s results were 1-1-1-2. He absolutely dominated racing this weekend with 3 holeshots and is now sitting 6 points in the lead for the championship win.
In 2nd overall we have Jack Waters who’s results were 2-2-4-1.
Riders will be heading to the final round of the MX GB Youth Championship at the Oxfordshire venue of Culham where the championship winners will be crowned.
