Two weekends of racing. Two championship titles. One from the hillsides of Duns in Scotland, one from the hard pack of Uddevalla in Sweden. Charlie Heyman is the 2026 MX2 British Motocross Champion. Ricardo Bauer is the 2026 EMX125 European Champion and the 2026 Junior World Champion. Both on Plews Tyres. Here is how it happened.

Charlie Heyman: British Champion
It is never really about one race. It is about all of them. Every qualifying session, every start, every lap where you have to make decisions under pressure and come out the right side. Charlie Heyman's 2026 MX2 season has been a masterclass in exactly that and at Duns in Scotland, he sealed the title with a round still to go.
Race one set the tone. Charlie qualified P5 before putting together a controlled and confident ride to finish P2, a result that keeps a championship lead intact.

Race two is where Charlie’s character showed. On lap two a rock broke his goggles and he ended up racing at the front with compromised visibility which is not a situation most riders would enjoy, but Charlie kept his composure, and brought the bike home in P4. The months of consistent racing had paid off, Charlie Heyman is the 2026 Motul ACU MX2 British Motocross Champion.

This result carries particular weight for Plews Tyres. It is the brand's first ever Pro Motocross British Championship. Jamie Keith
If Charlie's title was the headline, Jamie Keith's race two performance was the story that had everyone talking. The 17-year-old took the race win in moto two at Duns, his second pro race win of the season, following his famous debut victory at Hawkstone Park prior. At 17. In his rookie year. Racing grown men, as he himself pointed out earlier in the season.
He finished P3 overall for the round with a P6 and P1. For a rider who was still learning the step up from 125s to MX2 at the start of this year, producing multiple pro race wins across the season is nothing short of outstanding. The progression, the grit, the belief. Jamie Keith is not going anywhere.
Ryan Waggot finished the round P18 overall across the two motos, while Sotirios Fotakis had a challenging day. A goggle change in race one contributed to a P27, before a stronger race two saw him come home P22 for P24 overall. Progress being made.

MX1 Class
Charlie Putnam showed exactly what it means to race through adversity. A crash in qualifying separated his collarbone from his shoulder. A painful injury that would have sent many riders home for the day. Instead he went to the line last and put together two strong rides, finishing P15 and P13 for P14 overall. "Maximum effort kind of weekend," he said ... an understatement if there ever was one.

Syd Putnam continued his own upward trajectory. P16 in race one was compromised by a mistake late in the moto that cost him a couple of positions, but he responded with a P14 in race two. Another season best and further evidence of the progress that has been building week on week. P16 overall for the round.

125 Class
A solid weekend in the 125 class for our riders with some strong individual results. Joel Winstanley Dawson delivered another mature performance for his first year in the class - P3 in race one and P2 in race two gave him P2 overall, a result that continues to demonstrate exactly how well he has settled into the championship. In the context of a competitive 125 class that came down to fine margins across the day, P2 overall is a brilliant result and one Joel can be very happy with.
Chad Prince continues to make progress, finishing P21 and P20 across the two motos for P21 overall. Improving with every race is the right trajectory to be on.

EMX125 European Championship - Round 10, Uddevalla, Sweden

Earlier this season, Ricardo Bauer stood on the podium at Jinín in the Czech Republic as the 2026 FIM 125cc Junior World Champion. On Sunday at Glimminge Motorstadion in Uddevalla, with 28,500 spectators in attendance, he added the 2026 EMX125 European Championship to that collection.
Two titles. One season. One rider. One of the most extraordinary individual campaigns in junior motocross in recent memory.

The European Championship was sealed in the manner that has defined Bauer's entire year. A 1-1 performance that left no room for doubt. In race one he tracked championship rival Liam Bruneau before making his move and pulling clear for the win. In race two he went to the front immediately, led all 14 laps and crossed the line six tenths of a second ahead of Sleny Goyer. His eighth race win of the season. With Moritz Ernecker, the only rider who could mathematically challenge for the title, coming home tenth in race two, the championship was confirmed.
62 points. That is the gap between Bauer and his own Norman KTM Factory Rookies teammate Ernecker in the final standings, with one round still to go. Five overall victories. Eight race wins. A Junior World Championship and a European Championship in the same season.

Moritz Ernecker
Moritz Ernecker made his return at Uddevalla following the injury he sustained at the Junior World Championship in Jinín. Racing back from injury is never easy and finishing P10 overall - P13 in race one and P10 in race two. On a weekend where he was clearly managing the physical demands, showed the determination that has been a hallmark of his season. "Not my best riding all weekend, but considering everything, we gave it everything and pushed through the pain." Good to have him back, and plenty of season still to go.
Spanish Riders
Jordi Alba made his return from injury in Sweden, finishing P24 and P22 across the two races for P26 overall. The fact that he is back on the bike is the most important thing, and there is racing still to come.
In the EMX250 class, Adrià Monné delivered a solid weekend with P11 and P9 to finish P8 overall. A respectable result in a competitive field. Manuel López had a harder time, finishing P23 and P38 for P39 overall. The next opportunity comes soon.

ADAC MX Masters - Gaildorf
The ADAC MX Masters returned from its summer break at the traditional Wacht circuit in Gaildorf. The only hardpack venue on the calendar, under temperatures approaching 40°C. A brutal test of endurance as much as riding ability.
SHR Motorsports by Hartje lined up without Emil Weckman and Bosse Martensson, both absent through injury, leaving Jörgen-Matthias Talviku and Junior Cup rider Dawid Zaremba to carry the flag in demanding conditions.
Talviku's weekend was a study in highs and lows. He qualified P4, an excellent starting position on a circuit where the start straight is one of the longest on the entire ADAC calendar. Race one saw him run P3 for a large portion of the race before eventually finishing P6, a strong result. Race two ended in circumstances entirely outside his control: a heavy crash left his bike entangled in the catch fence, requiring outside assistance to free it and resulting in a DSQ. He came back in race three and put in a P3 performance, a real exclamation mark after a turbulent day. P6 overall for the round and, more importantly, the confirmation that the front-running pace is genuinely there.

Dawid Zaremba navigated the extreme conditions well in the Junior Cup. P11 in race one was followed by a step up to P9 in race two. Inside the top ten, pushing forward, collecting championship points. P10 overall for the weekend.
